Abstract

The title of this issue is taken from the first article: EDUCATION, VALUES AND EXPERIENCE. Propositional reflection article authored by the Spanish pedagogue Pedro Ortega Ruiz, Ibero-American Collective Director of Pedagogy of Otherness, Ripal-Redipe. It emphasizes that the teaching of values involves a requirement that makes it a difficult task to perform. The nature of value demands the reference to experience as a necessary component of value. But value has multiple forms of expression depending on the culture in which it is manifested. The educational system cannot remain oblivious and indifferent to what happens in society. It is called to contribute to its construction from ethics and solidarity. It is necessary to return to the roots of our beliefs or convictions to rediscover our educational role and help the birth of another way of being-in-the-world and being-in-the-world through individuals that make it possible to establish ethical relationships with the world and with others.
