Abstract

In this study, the results of the morphological and mathematical analyzes of the marble figures of San Pedro and San Pablo are socialized, where their artistic and geographical origins are exposed, and the description of the artistic processes to which they were subjected. these two large pieces of marble, confirming the origin of the material in Pietrasanta’s Monte altissimo at the hands of the sculptor Pietro Bibolotti. Likewise, the anthropometric origin is determined in classical Greece, with the standard canon, because of its mathematical proportions. Hence a high artistic and patrimonial value of these two sculptures of the Cathedral of San José de Cúcuta.
