Abstract

The title of this issue of the Redipe Magazine, the body with which the Ibero-American Pedagogy Network responds to the expressive and communicative needs of its members and the educational communities in general, honors, as well as this presentation, the exhibition that it gives us the teacher philosopher and pedagogue Pedro Ortega Ruiz, architect of the Pedagogy of Otherness, a perspective in which compassion represents an unobjectionable concept in relationships with the other and in whose characteristic features charitable assistance or beneficence should not appear, but The acceptance of the other and the ethical commitment to liberate the structures that generate dependency and marginalization stand out. It is about compassion, as an attitude of visceral welcoming, beyond its borders of feeling (Arboleda, 2020). The urban and technological cultures, pedagogical praxis, mathematics education, intervention, inclusion and innovation, education and covid, constitute some of the themes on which the other spaces of the content of the Redipe Magazine that concern us now gravitate.
