Abstract

The research analyzes the performance and progress of the “Agenda Regional Comuna 1 – Ciudad Futura” program from the Minuto de Dios University Corporation (UNIMINUTO) in Bucaramanga, Colombia, which integrates projects in education, community organization, productivity, and sustainability. Theories such as the Theory of Change, Social and Environmental Impact Assessment, and Benefits Realization Management were applied. Using a mixed approach and descriptive design, the progress and performance of the projects were evaluated.

The results indicate a compliance of 0.77 in the multidimensional analysis per project. Good project management and a transdisciplinary approach are evident, but there are deficiencies in the variables of sustainability, impact assessment, communication and reporting, and benefits. It is necessary to strengthen management processes, focusing on the creation of economic value in communities and the identification of metrics to understand progress and performance. Implementing metrics will allow for the application of more robust monitoring and control techniques. The development of activities to improve communication and dissemination of the program’s achievements is suggested.
