Abstract
Language is the tool used for learning the world; generates a relationship with various individuals regardless of the context in which they are located, which is why research has been carried out over several years, where the results obtained from the communication process have been worrisome.
The present investigative work seeks to determine the parameters on which the learning of a language should be based, addressing basic concepts of applied linguistics, as well as their objectives, the strategies that should be implemented when acquiring a language, in order to improve the communicative competence. In addition, it is considered that from the method-element factor the teaching of a language takes on greater significance.
