Abstract
The purpose of this research work was to diagnose sedentariness rates in the city of Latacunga, its social and health effects, through the application of surveys from which it was determined that most of the population in recent years has been left lead by the predominance of sedentary activities in daily life, all of which has led to multiple problems in society from an early age, which has been the product of the lack of a family sport culture and the policies of governments national and regional on duty that have done nothing for the promotion of recreational physical activities for a good living, so that people have prioritized activities under the influence of virtual social groups.
