Abstract

This present project occupied an important place in the Education, since the school desertion is a multicausal social problem, and is one of the primordial subjects within the society, in which it is tried to diminish and to eradicate this phenomenon, is for this reason that The general objective that was investigated was to diagnose desertion as a phenomenon in the education that should receive the children of the Educational Unit Luisa Sayas De Galindo of the city of Latacunga. The type of methodology used is a mixed methodology, in the present research has as a population 40 students between boys and girls, 36 parents and 2 teachers. As a data collection instrument, the survey was applied, which was tabulated the answers to obtain more information on this problem that is the school dropout, in addition to having an excellent result was investigated in several bibliographical sources on the subject to investigate having So the methodological framework of the research, worked with a small population to make the research more concrete, thus achieving the eradication and prevention of school dropout within Education.
