Abstract

The convenience of the application of ICT in education for children with Special Educational Needs, I can say this is a particular case of students with Down Syndrome, which is present in this study; those who already have difficulties in their daily lives due to their conditions and characteristics require that in their teaching they resort to strategies with tools that facilitate their learning process.


To achieve this objective, I applied a series of ICT workshops which were carried out, adapting
them to the individual conditions of three children with Down Syndrome, looking their behavior
and degree of scriptural apprehension analytically, according to the respective evaluation grid.



According to the characteristics of the children, their quantity and what they wanted to achieve,
the study was carried out as a case study, with descriptions of behaviors and results and appreciations of both the teachers and the parents as a result of the workshops, with the that is ventured into a new world full of information, improving the learning environment, allowing creative, fun and cognitive development, exchanging ideas and experiences that enable a true educational inclusion.
