Abstract

The title of this issue Education, learning and otherness is due, in the first place, to the reflection provided by the Spanish pedagogue Pedro Ortega Ruiz, member of the Quality Committee of the Ibero-American Network of Pedagogy, Redipe, on the presence of ethics and anthropology in education, proposing a new approach in education, a discourse that brings pedagogy out of routine and fatigue that always repeats the same. He states that anthropology and ethics go through educational action from beginning to end; that education, like ethics, is an encounter with the other that demands welcome and recognition from the authority of the vulnerability of his face. On the other hand, the bulk of the articles that the magazine involves include the learning processes, an area of education that cannot be strengthened without the eventual annealing of the other.
