Guidelines for authors
Boletín Redipe Magazine is an investigative and reflective dissemination organ of the Ibero-American Pedagogy Network. It is of monthly circulation, specialized, electronic and international, in which research, review and reflection articles are published in the different fields of education, pedagogy and knowledge. The articles will be handled electronically, being reviewed by the scientific committee, and by anonymous reviewers, and published in PDF format. The reception of a work does not imply its acceptance or publication, nor the journal's commitment regarding its appearance date.
Goals:
- Disseminate updated knowledge on various topics and areas of Education and Pedagogy, the product of research, review or reflection on certain objects of approach.
- It is an electronic publication specialized in the field of education and pedagogy, published monthly, open to the contributions of Ibero-American teachers, directors and educational agents, including those who interact as speakers and lecturers in the academic events that Redipe develops in various countries.
- Generate spaces for debate, reflection and participation.
1. EDITORIAL POLICY
The acceptance and publication criteria expressed here are valid for all the publication scenarios of the Red Iberoamericana de Pedagogía; Redipe Bulletin Magazine, Series, Collections (in all modalities) and memory books.
First: the intellectual property rights are not necessarily transferred by the author to the Boletín Redipe Magazine, once an article has been accepted for publication.
Second: any request for use or reproduction for commercial purposes should be addressed to the Editor of the magazine. Likewise, any authorized reproduction, in any medium, must fully cite the article and the journal. Reproduction is understood to be when the same article is duplicated in a digital or physical medium more than three times by the same interested party.
Reproduction is also understood when data published by Revista Boletín Redipe is included in a second publication.
Third: the printing of articles and photocopies for personal use is authorized. Also, the use of the magazine for educational purposes is promoted. In particular:
- Any institution can create links to specific articles that are on the journal's server in order to form packages of courses, seminars or as instructional material, but they cannot place the digital version and/or parts of it on their access servers. public without permission of the Publisher.
- Non-profit higher education institutions can make photocopies of printouts of articles for teaching purposes. In this case, they should only make sure to inform the Editor of the name of the course in which it will be used, that the reproduction is complete with the copyright note and that if there is a charge, it is only for the cost of reproduction. The digital version and/or parts of it may not be placed on their publicly accessible servers without the permission of the Publisher.
Fourth: the author can place a copy of the final version on his server, although it is recommended that he maintain a link to the journal's server where the original article is and include this note on usage policies.
Fifth: intellectual property violations fall on the person who carried it out. The company or institution that provides access to the content is not responsible for violations, either because it acts only as a transmitter of information (for example, Internet access providers) or because it offers public server services.
Sixth: authors must be hosted on Google Scholar and ORCID
Seventh: to submit your article to the evaluation process, together with your article, you must submit the letter of originality signed by the author(s), in which they state that the article in reference is original and unpublished and has not been published elsewhere. . 2. REVIEW
Preliminary evaluation process. In this phase, a review of the editorial quality of the submitted article is carried out by the Editorial Committee, in which it is checked that it complies with the rules for submitting articles and the APA rules in general. In the event that the document presents formal deficiencies or is not consistent with the thematic axis of the journal, the Editor will reject the work without the option of submitting it again.
In a maximum period of 15 days counted from the reception of the article, the authors will receive notification indicating if shortcomings were found for their correction; If the author does not return it with the corrections, the article will be rejected, but if the author returns it duly adjusted, and it is approved by the editorial team, the text will go to the content review stage by expert peers.
The successful completion of this first stage does NOT mean that the article has been accepted for publication.

- The arbitration process: external evaluation (double blind) by peers and anonymous. In this phase, the scientific quality of the article is evaluated in terms of its content by referees or expert peers.
The internationally standardized "double-blind" peer review system is used in all article reviews. The articles are sent for evaluation omitting the name of the authors and their affiliations. The articles are evaluated anonymously, by two experts on the subject, according to an evaluation guideline that is sent to them. The evaluators are selected by the Editor among the Ibero-American academic peers of entities external to Redipe.
The evaluators have a maximum time of 20 calendar days to send their opinion. Taking into account the aspects of the evaluation carried out, the acceptance or rejection of the articles for publication will be decided, considering that the article:
- Can be published without modifications
- May be published with modifications
- Not publishable
If applicable, the incorporation of the modifications of the article is given, the suggestions are sent to the author, who will have a time of 20 calendar days from the date of sending.
- In case of controversies when a positive and a negative opinion of the same work is received, it is sent to a third peer and according to its evaluation an editorial decision will be made.
In case the article is "Not approved", it must be justified.
- Estimated time of the evaluation and publication process
It is estimated that the time span of the evaluation process is two to four months, since it is expected that there are usually at least 1 or 2 rounds of prior evaluation until the article is suitable for publication. This period is relative, since it depends exclusively on the authors and reviewers involved in each article.
Once the article is ready to be published, the editing process, which includes syntax correction and the layout of the article, takes approximately between one to two months.

- Articles rejected in the preliminary evaluation for not complying with the rules for submitting articles, for not presenting formal deficiencies or not being consistent with the thematic axis of the journal.
- Articles rejected during peer review.
- Articles accepted with modifications, whose author did not send the corrections in the established term and form.

3. FORMAT OF THE PAPERS
Articles can be written in Spanish, English or Portuguese. In Times New Roman font 12, Word, line spacing 1.5. Its minimum length is 6 pages and a maximum of 25. They must include: title, author, email, affiliation and relevant bibliographic data at the foot of the page, abstract, keywords, development (including introduction), synthesis or conclusions, references (and annexes). , if apply).
The graphs and tables must be integrated in the same file in the position in which they should appear in the article.
For the bibliographic citations, the references and the formats of the tables and figures, the style of the American Psychological Association (APA) latest edition will be followed.
- Title page. It must contain the following mandatory data: Title of the article. Name and surname of the author(s). Electronic address, telephone number and name of the Institution, locality and country.
- Resume. In a paragraph, relevant ideas of the text must be included; no footnotes. Send it in Spanish, English and, if possible, in Portuguese.
- Keywords. Include a list of keywords. Use a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 6.
- Boards. The tables must have Arabic numerals and titles on them; footnotes should appear below the full body of the table. All tables must be cited in the text by number. Tables must not contain data that is duplicated in the text. These must be sent in Microsoft Word or Word Perfect. In each table, the source from which it was taken or adapted must be indicated; if it is the authors' elaboration, in that case "Own elaboration" will be indicated. The extension of the table must not exceed one page.
- Figures. Due to the journal's editorial policy, figures (.jpg, .png, .gif, etc) are not accepted in publications.
- Photography. Due to the journal's editorial policy, photographs or images (.jpg, .png, .gif, etc.) are not accepted in publications.
- At the end of each article, a list with the bibliographical references that appear in the text should be included. This list must be ordered alphabetically according to the last name of the author, following the standards established by the American Psychological Association (APA) in its latest edition. The title of this list should be "References".

4. SHIPPING
All articles must be sent as an "attachment" to the email address: boredipe@redipe.org, direccion@redipe.org, editorial@redipe.org or fill out the Application Form and attach your article.
5. OPEN ACCESS POLICY
Redipe Newsletter is an "Open Access" journal that offers all its production entirely online, open to educational communities and stakeholders, including Redipe members, who do not pay to publish in it.
Its contents are distributed under the Creative Commons Recognition 4.0 International license, which allows the user to copy, use, disseminate, transmit and publicly display its contents, as long as the authorship is cited.
6. COPYRIGHT POLICY
The authors will retain their copyright and will guarantee the journal the right of first publication of their work, which will be simultaneously subject to the Creative Commons Recognition License that allows third parties to share the work as long as its author is indicated and its first publication this journal.
Boletín Redipe Magazine by Red Iberoamericana de Pedagogía is distributed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.
Intellectual property rights are not necessarily transferred by the author to Redipe Bulletin journal, once an article has been accepted for publication.
Authors are allowed to disseminate their work through the Internet (for example: in institutional telematic archives, repositories, libraries, or on their website), which can produce interesting exchanges and increase the citations of the published work .
7. FILE POLICY
The website of the Redipe Newsletter Magazine is managed from an Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, which is an open source software developed by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) that has the Portico service. In this way, the LOCKSS and CLOKSS systems are used to create files that can be distributed among libraries and repositories, thus allowing the creation of permanent archives of the journal. Likewise, this policy is based on storing information in formats that are widely used today, increasing the probability that when a format becomes obsolete there will still be programs for its conversion: XML, HTML and PDF, as examples of these.
