Cotacachi Cayapas ecological reserve in its climate diversity

Abstract

The article is related to the analysis of the importance that the conservation of natural spaces has  for  our  country  and  therefore  the conservation of the environment and ecosystems, this time we refer to the Cotacachi ecological reserve, founded in the year 1968. Its objective is to relate the climatic floors and their microclimates, flora and fauna from 35 meters above sea level to altitudes of 4944 meters above sea level, comprising 243,638 hectares, its characteristic makes this location one of the largest and most important  natural  resources in northern Ecuador. Through a bibliographic review, the aim is to analyze and disseminate the great importance that this Cotacachi Cayapas ecological reserve provides, which, in addition to being a tourist attraction, is constituted as a study laboratory located between the provinces of Imbabura and Esmeraldas in the Republic of Ecuador, due to Because it is located in a very strategic point worldwide, most of those existing on earth can be felt in microclimates in this type of research is exploratory and its results will be disseminated to students of the social sciences career, and leave this work latent as a starting point to deepen studies with emphasis on geographical aspects as a result of a tour of this exuberant ecological reserve.
