Abstract
In this article, is about bibliographic review of different scientific contributions and the collection of data from research work, the environmental problem of the Riobamba canton of the province of Chimborazo in Ecuador, is briefly presented. called to the awareness of the citizenship in general and in special form of children and teneagers, where the main tool to reach this purpose, constitutes the environmental education may be, formal and informal.
