Biological approach to the intercultural curriculum: A reflection from the notion of memes and the theory of dual inheritance

Abstract
This research article proposes an approach to the intercultural curriculum from the referents of the biological perspective and the configuration of evolutionary theories, giving an anthropological interpretation to interculturality within the biopedagogical processes, which evidences possible mechanisms of biological adaptation in human beings that contribute to the identity of individuals and that can be transmitted by cultural codification (memes), and by means of educational processes within a territory, regardless of the social classification of individuals within the community. In this respect, a theoretical interlocution is developed with different authors around the categories of culture and interculturality in relation to the approaches of the theories of dual inheritance. Subsequently, a series of questions are posed that are unlearned from the possibilities of thinking about education and interculturality from a biological perspective. Finally, this research article reflects on the conceptual bases through which social groups co-evolve from an educational perspective.
