Global education how to promote global citizenship from school

Abstract
The article reports on research that analyzes various publications by authors, in relation to global education to improve the world. The objective is to contribute to the reflective or self-awareness of the emergence and / or formation of new citizens with a mentality of world citizenship through the promotion and pedagogical treatment from schools.
An overview of the thinking about planetary education is presented from different approaches using qualitative methodology and using the content analysis technique. During the research, the most relevant information was also selected, the definitions were drawn up on: global education, global education as a transformative learning process, why a global education? learning for a global society and, educational centers and the world citizenship approach, subsequently a table was prepared with the studies carried out on the subject, objectives and results and finally the conclusions were made.
