Abstract
The aim of this study was to explore the technological advancements implemented in the school environment to manage classroom behavior, in order to identify trends and future challenges in their educational application. A systematic review was conducted of research published between 2010 and 2021 in specialized databases such as Scopus, EBSCO, Scielo, and Science Direct, analyzing a total of 473 articles in English, of which 30 met the inclusion criteria established by the PRISMA statement. The focus was on the application of various technologies in classrooms across different academic levels. The results highlight that the integration of technologies in education should be approached from an interdisciplinary perspective, adapted to the different stages of students’ life cycles. Furthermore, the effectiveness of behavioral modification mechanisms is emphasized, which, when implemented with technologies, improve behavior and academic performance, especially in students with special needs. The study also identifies the need to adopt a transdisciplinary approach that combines different areas of knowledge to optimize the use of technology in the educational field.
