Abstract

Artificial Intelligence has become the protagonist of the thematic and reflective agendas at academic, social, political and cultural levels. This article is concerned with presenting a proposal for the appropriation of this technology at the educational level based on the intertwining of communication and education based on the interaction with AI from two fundamental aspects: its linguistic nature and the possibilities of consolidating co-creative processes in the perspective of symbolic mediation. The research experience developed in two educational institutions was taken as a reference, in which the work with AI allowed us to enhance the creative conditions of the human at the abductive level and to know the opportunities and limitations of the available technological tools. Finally, it is proposed as a result of the process a conception of working with AI as an educational and political challenge in which it is necessary to overcome an instrumental notion in the management of processes such as Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing or artificial neural networks, in order to be able to situate in the conditions that allow generating other modes of existence from co-creation and the recognition of the tensions present in algorithmic systems to be able to think other ways of existing that enhance the argumentation, ethics and balance between bios-zoe- techné as a reaffirmation of life
