Abstract

This document presents a description of the development of the first Mathematical Olympiad of the University of La Salle, a strategy aimed at the development of mathematical thinking and the participation of students in scenarios of comprehensive training complementary to the curriculum
defined for each race. Initially, an introduction is made in which the problem is presented by which a strategy like this one was considered and the objectives that guided it. Next, the methodology used in the planning, organization and development of the event is presented.

And, it ends with the results and conclusions on the development of the first version of these institutional mathematical Olympics.
