The process approach, its concretion in an institutional management manual

Abstract

These results are part of a research project and an experience of work of the Institute of Pharmacy and Foods of the University of the Havana, which has come arranging this methodology looking for major efficiency and efficacy in the university substantive processes from the organization of a system of work that departs from the structure of teams who lead both these processes and the strategic and of support ones.

The essential idea grows from the need to integrate the different models of management that today coexist in the practices of the university institutions: strategic, structural - functional, management of the quality and process approach; often the necessary coherence is not achieved between the different approaches that occur of the above mentioned models, in this sense the target of the work is to identify the procedures as articulating nucleus of the previous models, there appears the methodology applied in the Institute of Pharmacy and Foods of the University of the Havana.
